Today is the final day of Transgender Awareness Week. Did you know that more than two dozen transgender people were killed in 2018? The vast majority of those victims were transgender women and people of color. And the number is likely much higher.

Meditation is a process of making friends with ourselves, of learning to be real in this body we get for just a few breaths.

Our hearts go out to anyone who feels trapped in an identity that isn’t yours. We stand by our trans friends and celebrate your full humanity.

Tomorrow, November 20th is Transgender Day of Remembrance. We lift up all who have lost their lives to anti-transgender violence. And we vow to continue working so that everyone can feel at home in their bodies, their gender identities, and their lives.
